Mitchell & Morgan, LLP as part of the Bonfire Memorial design team was responsible for all civil work on the project. The design consisted of a permanent memorial dedicated to the memory of the 12 Aggies who died and 27 injured in the 1999 Bonfire tragedy. Overland Partners Architects was selected as the winning lead design team through a national design competition, and pulled together a project team including civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and geotechnical engineers. Mitchell & Morgan, LLP was responsible for the surveying, design of parking lot improvements, grading plans, drainage system design and utility design to the Bonfire Memorial and associated Visitor Center.
