City of Bryan Downtown Storm Sewer Rehabilitation

The City of Bryan Downtown Rehabilitation Project was the rehabilitation of Main Street from 24th Street to 28th Street. This project included concrete paving, brick paver sidewalks, replacing sanitary sewer lines, water lines, and storm drain lines, landscaping and illumination.

Mr. Mitchell was the chief designer for the underground wet utilities. His role included the design of the sanitary sewer lines, water lines and storm drain lines. The project construction proceeded smoothly with minor questions during construction. All project objectives and requirements were obtained in the final product. The project scope was increased several times to attempt to repair as much existing infrastructure as the City of Bryan could afford.

The project was ultimately a success in shifting sewerage flow away from locations where the capacity of the existing system was insufficient. This project included coordination with the City of Bryan Engineering, Texas Department of Transportation, and the City of Bryan Water/Wastewater and Electrical Departments.
