Texas A&M University Veterinary Lab Addition

This project consisted of the construction of 14,890 sq. ft. laboratory addition to the existing Veterinary Laboratory building on Texas A&M University campus. This addition required the relocation and extension of major utility lines in the area. Utility improvements for the site included 352 linear feet of 8" waterline, 300 linear feet of 36" storm sewer, and an additional 480 linear feet of varying stormsewer draining the large landscaped areas around the site. Approximately 480 linear feet of 8" and 10" sanitary sewer near the site was removed and replaced with 515 linear feet of 12" sewer pipe. Approximately 29,000 square feet of both sidewalk improvements and new sidewalk were constructed to allow pedestrian access around the site. This project followed the TAMU Campus Master Plan and has been designed for LEEDs Silver Certification.
